Broadwood certainly seems the popular place to be on Saturday. Celtic fans have inundated the Clyde office asking for information on how they can follow the Bully Wee at the weekend. The Club has been on record before stating their appreciation of the Celtic fans’ reaction to the Third Round result and now it seems the Bhoys want to follow the boys!

High flying Gretna come to town for the Tennants Scottish Cup 4th Round and judging by the interest it is sure to be a bigger than normal Broadwood crowd. Indeed an example of the added interest in Clyde is that many Celtic fans who booked hospitality for the Third Round game have re-booked for Saturday to once more enjoy match day hospitality at Broadwood.

Admission for the match is £14 Adults £7 concessions and it will be pay at the gate. So come early and enjoy some cup action at Broadwood.

Meanwhile Clyde confirmed their professionalism and respect of Gretna, in preparing for the crucial cup clash. The players will be staying overnight at a hotel on Friday. Director John Ruddy commented: “We have always said we will be treating Gretna in the same manner as we did Celtic.”

“Gretna are a strong side on top form and the players will be fully prepared for the challenge. It is essential that every player selected is at the top of their game for a match that Chairman Len McGuire acknowledged recently will be harder than the Celtic game.”
