International Recognition For Michael

Clyde’s Michael McGowan has today been called up for the Northern Ireland U21 squad. The squad will travel to face Israel in a couple of matches on 6 and 8 February.

The Northern Ireland U21 side, managed by Roy Millar (pictured left) face a European Championship match with Liechtenstein in the Spring and if successful will go into a group with Germany and Romania. Michael is understandably delighted with the honour and our best wishes go with him as he meets up with his team mates in London on Sunday night.
