Assistant Manager Joe Miller spoke to the website and gave an update on the squad preparations for Saturday’s clash with Hamilton. “It’s been a busy Christmas and New Year period.”

“We felt it was essential for the lads to get some respite and rest so with that in mind we’ve gave the players a few days off this week, so that they will all be fit and raring to go for Saturday’s game against Hamilton which is sure to be a very difficult match.”

“We are hopeful that Romauld Bouadji and Stevie Masterton will be back against the Accies but we will definitely be without Craig McKeown. The rules state that you can’t appeal a double booking, so Craig will be missing which is a blow.”

“Good news is that Paul McHale is making real progress. What he needs though are games now and we are trying to arrange some closed door matches for him to get sharper and match fit. Paul has been out for a while and in many ways it will seem like signing a new player, so we will all be delighted when he returns to action.”
