Mackinnon Returns!
As part of the ongoing restructure and development of Clyde Football Club, the Board of Directors are delighted to announce the appointment as a management consultant of former Kilmarnock Football Club General Manager, David Mackinnon.
David, who left his Kilmarnock post in December following three successful years, will assist the Board in pursuing their strategy to deliver the club’s objective of promotion to the Scottish Premier League. He will also support team manager Graham Roberts in contractual and legislative issues as required.
David Mackinnon said: “I know the Club well having worked with them for a period of four years ago, but since that time there have been major developments both on and off the park, and I am delighted to be given the opportunity to work with a positive Board of Directors who have the club at heart, and most importantly football people. On the park the achievements of Graham, Joe (Miller) and the players have been fantastic, and I look forward to providing assistance as required in their aspirations towards SPL status.”
Clyde Chairman Len McGuire added: “David’s wide experience and knowledge will be of great benefit to the club. It is a further step in our continuing efforts to improve structures at the club at all levels and to ensure a stable and successful future for Clyde Football Club”
