Squad Update
This morning Clyde boss Graham Roberts was able to give the website an update on current team news at the Club. “We’ve had further news regarding Paul McHale’s injury and it was good to hear that the operation has been successful and all are pleased with his progress. However we will not rush him. He is doing some light work at the moment and is on course to comeback into the first team reckoning within six to eight weeks.”
Another absentee on Saturday was Robert Harris, the highly-rated youngster who recently committed his future to Clyde for a further eighteen months, suffered a slight hamstring strain last week and it was considered too risky to play him. Happily,
Robert has responded well to treatment and should be fit to travel to Dingwall for the crucial league clash against Ross County this weekend.
It was also confirmed by the Club today that Clyde are continuing the process of ensuring that the Bully Wee is strengthened at all levels. Talks are continuing with a number of players re contract extensions and as soon as deals are agreed then the website will carry the official news.
