Local Heroes!
Over thirty youngsters trained at Broadwood on Monday night, as part of the continued expansion of the Clyde Youth Development programme.
Alan Upton, alongwith the Clyde management team, has brought the Clyde 1994 squad under his coaching remit and Monday was the first night for the U12s as part of the expanded youth coaching scheme.
This again shows the progress being made as young players from the local area can progress through the ranks of the different age groups representing the Bully Wee to hopefully one day graduate to play for the first team at Broadwood and become local heroes themselves.
The current management team have shown their belief in giving youth its chance, with under 18 players like Robert Harris demonstrating that if a youngster has the ability then age is not a barrier.
