Captain’S View
Team captain Stephen O’Donnell (pictured left) gave his view of Clyde’s latest victory. The midfielder who scored a crucial second goal just before the interval spoke to the website. “It was vital to win after Monday’s result. It was important to bounce back and we put together a great performance in the first half and killed it off in the second.”
“It was great to get the early goal that settles everybody. The crowd got right behind us and they kept with us throughout the match which was great. For my own goal I actually thought Craig (Bryson) was going to go down for a penalty but he managed to slip the ball to me and I just concentrated and put it away in the corner. It is always good to score!”
“We now have a massive game against St Mirren and will do all we can to make up for that result at Brechin. It is only after that match that our minds will turn to Celtic.”
