Lanarkshire’ S L107 Looking For A Clyde Reporter

Lanarkshire’s new radio station, due for launch in late November, is planning to give local football in Lanarkshire a boost with a programme of coverage and profile. Station bosses at Lanarkshire’s L107 are also looking to supporters to do their bit.

On and off field activities at Clyde Football Club will feature on the new station which will broadcast in Cumbernauld on 107.5 FM from a town centre transmitter. As well as highlighting team news, the station will also feature fund-raising and coaching activities. The station is also looking for Clyde supporters to turn radio reporter.

Station boss and former Radio 1 DJ Mark Page (pictured) explained: “We are looking for a Clyde fan who goes to home and away games to call in with match previews and updates. It’s their chance to be a star and to promote their team on the air. There’s plenty of role models for them on radio and TV, so I think we’ll all have some fun picking out our Clyde reporter.”

Budding Bully Wee reporters are asked to register their interest at football@L107.com. Auditions will follow in the run up to the station’s launch in late November.
