Clyde V Ross County
Graham Roberts spoke to the website prior to this afternoon’s match against Ross County. “I thought last week we were superb, especially during the first hour and we should have been 4-0 up. We knew exactly how Hamilton would play and the players responded well but couldn’t get that second goal.”
Graham continued, “We need to take the positives from last Saturday and take that form into today’s game against Ross County. I trust the fans will also continue to back us as passionately as they have done before. We appreciate greatly the fans support.”
“I was disappointed at those who criticised them in the papers on Monday. After all it was the fans who saved Clyde and when the Club is criticised they are bound to react.” Graham added: “For obvious reasons, the Club had to go down a different route this year and we have come a long way this season already.”
“We are building Clyde up. Myself, Joe and the Directors are getting this club back on its feet and we are succeeding. We have some fantastic young players now, playing in an entertaining way and it is good to see the fans getting right behind them. The rapport being built between the players and the support is something special and if we continue to be united then we have nothing to fear.”
“For today’s clash Neil McGregor is suspended so that means Romauld Boudaji, Andy Dick and Steve Masterton come into contention for a starting place. Ross County have had a good start to the season and it will be difficult but due to our form of late we can go into this match with confidence.”
