Clyde V Hamilton Preview

Graham Roberts has reported a fully fit squad with the obvious exception of Paul McHale for tomorrow’s clash with Hamilton Accies. The Clyde boss commented, “We know Hamilton are a physical side and we must be prepared to match them. We will have to earn the right to play the way we want to play.”

Graham continued, “There will be an edge to it for the fans, but it is all about getting the job done to allow us to continue to move in the right direction. The boys have made progress and we want to continue that on Saturday.”

Hamilton certainly come in to this game brimming with confidence, the awards have been flowing and a cup final appearance is waiting as their pre season investment in full time players appears to be paying dividends. Billy Reid summed up the mood by stating that “if our lads to play the way they have in the last two or three weeks we should not have any problems.”

As the game features so many ex Clyde players the match will be unique. The fans will certainly make it a derby atmosphere but the focus has to be on the action on the pitch in order to give Clyde’s young stars their full backing against one of the league’s title favourites.
