Board Moves

David qualified in 1973 trained at Boyds and was assumed as a Partner in 1976. His appointment will assist the club greatly as it seeks to develop and his expertise will complement the existing experience and talent of the Board.
Sadly though it is a case of one in one out with the announcement of the departure of Bob McPherson. It was a key role especially on match days and the Dundee based director quickly became the face of Clyde to the stadium management, authorities and visiting supporters.
Meanwhile Robert Hannah has been appointed as the Operations General Manager, Robert
Director John Ruddy commented on the Boardroom moves, “Bob worked tirelessly for Clyde working many hours behind the scenes and his leaving is certainly a loss for the club. However we are extremely grateful for all that he has achieved for the Bully Wee and wish him every success in the future.
John continued, “David’s appointment is another step forward in the rebuilding of the club and his joining of the Board adds further to the skills available. We are trying to build the necessary infrastructure so that Clyde can grow in the future and today’s news confirms our intentions.”
