Judging Time

“This next week will tell us a lot.” Those were the words of manager Graham Roberts as he prepared the squad for Saturday’s match against St Mirren. “We have some cracking matches coming up, all of us are looking forward to them and the performances and the results we put together will give us a real indication of where the team is at in terms of form.”

Clyde dominated much of last week’s clash against Brechin but failed to convert that superiority into goals so the fans will be hoping that this week the Bully Wee strikers will get rewarded. St Mirren are one of the favourites for the title so it will be a game where the players will once again need a vociferous backing from the Clyde support to dumbfound the pre-season pundits.

Clyde will be without suspended central defender Neil McGregor but apart from that absence, Graham is hopeful of having a virtual full strength squad.
