Rebuilding Continues

Clyde today confirmed that moves to strengthen the squad in preparation for the 2005/06 season are continuing with the confirmation of four new signings: goalkeeper Peter Cherrie (pictured left), central defender Romuald Bouadji (pictured right) and midfielders Kevin Bradley and Andrew Dick.

Cherrie, 22, has had previous experience with Airdrie and Ayr United as well as a period with local junior side Kilsyth Rangers and excelled in Clyde’s recent glamour friendly against Manchester United.

Bouadji, 22, started his career with St Etienne but played in a regular basis in Non League football in England. The defender became known to Graham Roberts during their time at Carshalton and has featured in all of Clyde’s pre-season matches.

A familiar face is that of nineteen year old Kevin Bradley. “Taz” has signed a two year deal and his aggressive and enthusiastic play brought him into the first team last year. Bradley has been used recently in a more prominent striking role and will be keen to establish himself in the first eleven.

The quartet is completed by Andrew Dick,19. Dick started his career with Rangers before moving briefly to Falkirk. The tall central midfielder is eager to get regular first team football and will be working hard to impress in order to achieve his aim.

More signings are expected this week as Graham continues to shape the squad.
