Brechin City 3 V 2 Clyde (Aet)

A goal from Alex Williams (pictured left) after just three minutes gave Clyde an early lead in today’s Bell’s Cup clash at Glebe Park but the home side equalised thirteen minutes later when Paul Ritchie finished off a Craig McEwan cross and that’s the way it stayed until the seventy-ninth minute when a Graham Gibson header put City into a 2-1 lead.

Five minutes from the end of normal time a goal from Neil McGregor (pictured right) brought the Bully Wee another chance to win the tie in extra time.

Thirteen minutes into the additional period a headed Steve Hampshire goal from another Craig McEwan cross proved to be the winner for the Angus club.
