Cup Challenge
Clyde boss Graham Roberts got confirmation today that the season is a matter of nine weeks away. After last season’s bye, Clyde were thrown into the First Round of the Bells Challenge Cup with a tough tie away to Brechin City.
The newly crowned Second Division Champions will be a different proposition to the side that Clyde beat 5-2 on the final day of the season last year. All the First Round ties will be played on Saturday 30 July.
Clyde’s tie with Brechin is the only all-First Division match. Airdrie United and Dumbarton received byes to the Second Round. The most attractive tie is arguably the all-Second Division clash between Morton and Gretna; ex-SPL side Dundee have a home tie against East Stirlingshire. The full draw is
