St Johnstone 0 V 0 Clyde

Clyde and St Johnstone played out a goaless draw this afternoon at McDiarmid Park. A Clyde line up that featured David Greenhill making his debut in a Clyde starting line-up saw goalmouth action at a premium with Bryn Halliwell comfortably completing another clean sheet for the Bully Wee.

Clyde came closest to scoring in the latter stages when Jimmy Gibson failed to net after a neat passing move.

Falkirk’s narrow 1-0 home win over Ross County means the Brrns are confirmed as First Division champions, Clyde’s revised aim being to finish second for the third season in succession. With twelve points left to play for the Billy Reid’s boys are six points ahead of third placed St. Mirren.

The Clyde team at McDiarmid today was:
Clyde: Halliwell, Espinola, Gilhaney, Balmer, Potter, Greenhill, Burns, Gibson, Jones, Bryson, Harty (Bradley 77).
Subs not used: Gardiner, McKeever, Harris, Morrison.
