Straight From The Harty

Following his weekend double, Bully Wee hitman Ian Harty has taken some time out to reflect on his own experience with Clyde and what may happen in the future…

Ian commented: “The Club let me speak to Falkirk in the summer but Falkirk never met the Club’s valuation of me. I’m not saying I would have gone though – I never asked to leave Clyde. I was quite happy to see out my contract and see where things go and I was honest at the start and told everyone that”.

“I don’t know what will happen at the end of the season,” concluded Ian. “All I’ll say is that I’m thoroughly enjoying it at Broadwood, it’s a great place to come in to, and that’s one of the big reasons for staying. It’s fantastic to come every day and train with the rest of the boys”.

Ian Harty was the goal hero the last time Clyde played Hamilton and the fans will be keen to seen him continue his rich vein of form on Saturday at New Douglas Park.
