Aron Wilford Signs For Struggling Stalybridge

Striker Aron Wilford, released by Clyde on 22 December, today joined Confernce North and former English Football League club Stalybridge Celtic.

The Cheshire outfit only moved off the bottom of the table on Saturday following a narrow win over fellow strugglers Bradford Park Avenue and Celtic manager John Reed, appointed on 13 January, has since been busy in the transfer market. The victory over Avenue was only Celtic’s fourth of the season and the capture of Aron is part of the new Bower Fold manager’s determined efforts to avoid relegation.
