St. Johnstone V Clyde
Billy Reid informed the website tonight that Jimmy Gibson and Gary Arbuckle will both be missing for tomorrow’s trip to Perth. Happily, Scott Wilson and Alex Walker appear to have recovered from ‘flu and will make the squad.
Despite the absence of Gibson and Arbuckle, Billy remained positive. “We are capable of winning but we know that if we don’t perform then we will not get anything. The previous match was very close and I’m sure this game will be no exception. Getting the first goal is vital”.
“Despite their form which has been inconsistent,” Billy contunued, “St Johnstone still have good players and can consider themselves in a false position. It just proves that there are no easy games in this league”.
Clyde’s recent record in Perth has been good but there is no complacency in the Clyde camp as the players work to maintain the pressure on Falkirk.
Elsewhere in the division, leaders Falkirk play host to Ross County while Thistle travel to Kirkcaldy. A Lanarkshire derby is at New Douglas Park as Hamilton face Airdrie United and finally St Mirren are at home to Queen of the South.
