Mickael Marsiglia Leaves Clyde

Less than a week after Clyde boss Billy Reid spoke of the need for former Olympique de Marseille star Mickael Marsiglia to “prove his worth” he has parted company with Clyde.

Signed on 10 September on a four month deal, courtesy of Billiy Reid’s close association with agent Willie McKay, the skillful French midfielder looked ill at ease playing in the much more physical Scottish style and failed to win a regular first team place.

“I’m disappointed it didn’t work out,” stated Billy Reid earlier today. “Mickael was willing to come here, both he and I wanted the move to be successful, but he just couldn’t make the required adjustment. His short-tem contract has been cancelled by mutual agreement and we wish him well in the future.”
