Bully Wee fans visit a new venue this week-end as Clyde play at the Falkirk Stadium for the first time.
The Bairns’ new ground is just outside the town, located roughly halfway between Falkirk and Grangemouth and about twenty minutes’ walk from Falkirk town centre.
Glasgow-based Clyde fans intending to travel by rail should note that there are trains every hour from Glasgow Queen Street to Falkirk‘s Grahamston Station. The stadium is approximately twenty minutes’ minute walk from Grahamston, along the main road to Grangemouth (A904).
Alternatively, bus routes 3 and 4 to to Grangemouth and 6 and 7 to Bo’ness are available from the bus stop near the station, outside ASDA, and these will take you past the ground.
Motorists should take the M80/A80 towards Stirling, branch left at junction 5 onto the M876 (signposted Kincardine Bridge) and then south onto the M9 towards Edinburgh. Leave the M9 at Junction 6 (signposted Grangemouth). Turn right at the bottom of the slip road onto the A905 (The Grange Manor will shortly appear on your right) and then take the third exit at large roundabout onto the A904 signed for Falkirk. Take first exit at the Westfield Roundabout. The Falkirk Stadium is on your left.
Not much information about parking except to arrive early. It’s a similar situation for any wheelchair-bound Clyde supporters. It is understood that some spaces have been set aside at the Main Stand. The best advice is to arrive early.
Clyde fans are being accommodated in the seven hundred and fifty seater temporary stand behind the goal at the north end of the ground and access will be gained via gates 9 and 10. The following admission categories and prices apply:
Adults: £15
Concessions: £10
Children: £5
