Clyde Return To The Clyde For Shirt Sponsor
Last Thursday, at 200 Broomielaw, the Glasgow landmark office development on the banks of the Clyde, Manager Billy Reid, Assistant Manager/player Stuart Balmer and captain John Potter joined Bruce Walker, Managing Director of Walker Group (Scotland) Ltd to celebrate the Club’s first team shirt sponsorship by the Livingston-based property developer.
This is Walker Group’s first sponsorship of Clyde and is seen as “a fitting tribute” to the Club. It was Walkers who built Broadwood Stadium in 1993 as part of a joint venture partnership with the public sector which also developed a new loch, business park and many new homes in Cumbernauld.
Bruce Walker, managing director of Walker Group said “Following a relationship with the Club for over ten years, we are pleased to be the first team shirt sponsor for Clyde F.C. particularly as they start the season top of the First Division. 200 Broomielaw is currently our flagship development and a fitting Clydeside location for its namesake football club.”
