Ayr 1 V 1 Clyde
A sizeable away support left Somerset Park frustrated and disappointed that only one point was gained from a match in which Clyde created enough chances to win three of four.
Pat Keogh blasted home an early goal from a McCann cross before Ian Harty, and others, missed glorious chances to finish the match before half-time.
Andy Smith, Mark Gilhaney, Jack Ross, Mark McLaughlin, Ian Harty and Stephen McConalogue all saw good chances hit the woodwork, cleared off the line, saved or missed in a pulsating but agonising second half and Ayr snatched an equaliser amid the Bully Wee pressure.
Two excellent shouts for a penalty were also turned away by referee Kenny Clark and Simon Mensing was sent off for two bookable offences, the second of which was for dissent after the final whistle.
A full match report with reaction will appear in the Fixtures / Results section soon.
