Clyde and Kilmarnock today confirmed that agreement had been concluded on the ground sharing arrangements for next season, should The Bully Wee win the First Division Championship.
If Clyde secure promotion to the SPL, they will play all home matches during season 2004/05 at the home of the Ayrshire club, while the reserve teams of both clubs will play their matches at Broadwood.
Commenting on the announcement Director Frank Dunn revealed, “Negotiations have gone very smoothly and the hard work behind the scenes now provides the club with the prospect of top flight football should the team finish the season in top spot. We are grateful to Kilmarnock F.C. for their co-operation and we will now jointly prepare the legal contract for submission to the SPL Board by the 31st May deadline.
“Broadwood will remain our base for all other than match-day activities and we hope all Bully Wee fans get right behind the team for the remaining three crucial league matches.”
