Inverness V Clyde Preview
Midfielders Jimmy Gibson and David Greenhill are added to the squad that will travel to Inverness tomorrow for the match that could have a big say on where the Championship goes.
John Potter is therefore the only player unavailable again.
Alan Kernaghan said today:-
“I was disappointed in a lot of ways on Saturday but in hindsight I think a point could be important. We’ve seen a lot of games like that lost in the last 5 minutes so I was pleased to stay away from that but overall I’m disappointed with the way we played.
“You could tell how disappointed the players were on Saturday without saying anything to them. It didn’t need us to rant and rave; they knew themselves they hadn’t done what was required. It was a difficult game and I’m sure Brechin will create problems for other teams.”
“The players were bright and bubbly this morning and they reacted well to a few things that we had to go over. I’ve got no problems on that front.
“There’s going to be lots of pressure between now and the end of the season but that’s what comes with being in the hunt for a Championship and we have to deal with that. I said last year that it was important that we learned from the pressures we put ourselves under when chasing Falkirk and we’re now under the same pressures. I’m confident that the squad can deal with it.
“It’s very easy to look around you and consider all the ifs, buts and maybes but we can’t get involved in that. All we have to do is concentrate on what we do because we are in the driving seat.”
