Manager Praises ‘Gypsy Army’

Alan Kernaghan has asked for more of the same from The Bully Wee’s small but loyal band of supporters as the season enters a crucial stage. Speaking today he said:-

“The support has been great of late. It was nice to see a good strong following at Raith Rovers on Saturday.

“Everyone would love us to have more fans but even if there is only 10 or 100 in the stand every little bit of help from them is needed and we appreciate it.”

The manager also urged the fans to show some patience and restraint on occasions:-

“We understand when they get frustrated, as we all do at times, but some of the things that have been directed towards Billy Reid at Broadwood have been scandalous. It’s not needed. We’ve got young players in the team and it can affect them. I would ask some fans to try and realise that their over frustrations can be a detriment to the team.”
