The final scoreline of this match perhaps hints that it was an easy passage to the 4th Round for The Bully Wee, but it took a much improved second half performance to overcome the Division 3 outfit.

The visitors looked sharper during the first 45 minutes and caused Clyde problems without really creating any clear cut chances. However, after the interval two trademark Andy Smith headers and, finally, Jack Ross’ first goal of the season ensured that there would be no shock result.
