Ayr 2 V 2 Clyde

A slightly disappointing overall performance against an improving Ayr United side resulted in a single point being taken at Somerset Park today.

Clyde once again started brightly and Pat Keogh scrambled an opener inside 5 minutes following good build-up play but the football then failed to live up to the early promise.

Ayr equalised after 53 minutes following some hesitation in the defence but a minute later Keogh bundled home his second goal of the afternoon to restore his lead. A free header at the back post later sealed the draw however.
