Introducing…. Chris Zok
For number 3 in the series, Assistant Manager Billy Reid introduces an under-19s striker who has scored plenty of goals already this season…
Number 3: Chris Zok
Date of birth: 21/06/86 (Age 17)
Height: 5′ 9″
Nickname: “Zok”
Position(s): Striker
Previous club(s): Zenica Boys Club
Strengths: Pace, aggression, a good work-rate and an eye for goal.
Areas of game needing work: Needs to improve his awareness and think more about his runs to allow his strengths to be better used. First touch also needs to improve.
First team player most similar to: None currently. Can be compared to Keigan Parker of St.Johnstone but more aggressive.
Best moment at Clyde: Scoring two great goals in recent victory over Hamilton Accies.
How long before we’ll see him in the first team? Has strength and attitude, but needs to improve overall game.
Billy Reid says… “Chris has a good attitude on and off the park but lets himself down at times with his touch and hold up play. He must improve this to make the step up.”
