Kernaghan To Lead From Dugout
Player-Manager Alan Kernaghan has ruled himself out of a place in the starting line-up at Ayr tomorrow due to an ankle injury, and will take control from the dugout for the first time since November. Willie Falconer has an achilles tear so is also unavailable.
Under-18s’ players Paul Doyle, John Baird and Chris Sloman are brought into the squad, and Mark Gilhaney has trained all week after limping off against St.Johnstone.
Kernaghan said today:-
“If results go our way we can secure second place tomorrow, but we just have to concentrate on our match. I saw Ayr on Tuesday night against Inverness and thought they did very well, so we’ll have our work cut out.”
