Gretna 1 V 2 Clyde
The result was undoubtedly the important aspect for Clyde in this tricky Scottish Cup 3rd Round tie, and thankfully a win and a place in the next round was achieved.
A bumpy, heavy pitch didn’t help Clyde play their usual flowing football and a defensive mix-up allowed The Black and Whites to snatch a shock early opener. After half an hour of subsequent pressure, and just when the Clyde support were beginning to think “I’ve seen this all before”, Andy Millen cooly slotted home an equaliser after good work by Stephen Cosgrove and Willie Falconer.
Leigh Hinds scored a brilliant winner in the second half to send the Clyde support home happy.
