Hinds Hungry For Goals

Silky striker Leigh Hinds reckons his recent performances have merited goals – and he’s determined to prove it on Saturday. Talking to the website about the big game against Falkirk, Leigh said:-

“It’s a very big game for us, but we are capable of beating them if we play well. If we can start the match as well as we’ve been playing in the last 4 or 5 weeks then I’m confident we can go on and get a result.”

He continued – “The confidence in the squad is high at the moment after going 7 games unbeaten, but it’s all about doing it on the Saturday.”

The Clyde support have been impressed by his recent performances, which have been a big contributer to the recent results, but are also surprised he hasn’t found the net for 6 weeks. Leigh agrees:-

“I think I’m definitely due a goal. I’d like to say I’ve been doing well in the last few weeks but it’s been disappointing that I haven’t scored, especially against Alloa.”

“I’m looking to make up for it on Saturday though.”
