Marko’S Bad Luck Continues

Mark McLaughlin can once again say he is injury free – but sadly he cannot add fully fit to that claim. A severe chest infection has kept Mark out for the last 2 weeks and it still remains a mystery.

Alan Kernaghan said – “We spoke to the doctor on Saturday about Mark McLaughlin. His ankle injury is now fine but he’s still really struggling with this chest infection.”

Mark is every bit as frustrated as the Clyde support that he can’t get an extended run in the first team, but is hoping that doctors can get to the bottom of his latest problem. Kernaghan continued – “We’ve had blood tests and other tests done on him and we should get the results later in the week.”

If all goes well, it is hoped that Mark may be able to feature at Ayr in two weeks time. Fingers crossed!
