Four players from the Clyde Under 13s youth team have signed S-forms, reports Jim Strathdee of Clyde Youth Development. They are Allan Dallas (captain), Nickie Johnston,Tony Stevenson and Mark Gallagher.

Jim understands that Rangers had been looking at both Allan and Tony while Hearts sent a representative to Nickie’s house to sign him. Additionally Celtic were interested in Mark but all four enjoy playing for Clyde and Clyde Youth Development are delighted that they have chosen to remain with Clyde.

Since Clyde’s Under 13’s won the recent Helensbourgh tournament, offers of games from quality teams are coming in and Jim Strathdee suggests that one game for the supporters to take note of is Clyde v Hockessin Silverhawks Boys from Dellawear,U.S.A. The game will be played at the Science Park on Sunday 21 July with a 2.30 pm kick off.
