Another Chance For Carrigan At Kirkcaldy
Talented midfielder Brian Carrigan, who needs no introduction to Clyde fans, has been given yet another chance to rebuild his career in Scotland. as new Raith Rovers boss Antonio Calderon has taken him on on trial.
‘Carrots’ began his career at Broadwood and quickly established himself as a prospect for the future. Under 21 caps and a big money move to Stockport County followed, but the move didn’t work out and he was sacked after a drink-driving offence. Spells at Dundee United and Clydebank followed before his move back to Clyde on loan last year. Despite some promise being showed on the pitch, he was told to leave Broadwood by Alan Kernaghan after an alleged incident that the Clyde boss called “totally unacceptable”.
Some Clyde fans doubted if Carrigan would ever return to the game, but he now has a chance to prove himself in the Second Division. Is this is last chance and will he take it? Talk about it on the Message Board.
