Tasty End Of Season Win For Clyde

At the Scottish Football League’s annual awards ceremony yesterday, Partick Thistle’s John Lambie, Queen of the South’s John Connolly and Brechin City’s Dick Campbell deservedly won their respective Divison’s Manager of the Year award while former Airdrieonians striker Owen Coyle, now with Falkirk, captured the Bell’s Player of the Year prize.

In the other categories, nineteen year old Stirling Albion striker Alex Williams was named Bell’s Young Player of the Year, East Fife were awarded the ‘Bell’s Angels’ prize for fair play and the efforts of the Broadwood catering staff were recognised when Clyde were named winners of the ‘Pie of the Year’ award for the best food in the League.
