Start Of The Summer Sevens
On Wednesday night sixteen Clyde fans of all ages, including director Gerry Dunn, took part in the first “Summer Sevens” game and everyone involved enjoyed the game.
It was played in a good spirit but that didn’t stop it being keenly contested. Despite the “colours” team totally dominating in terms of possession and attacking play, the “whites” were eventual winners with their enterprising counter-attack play, or as Clyde fans tend to call it – ‘Alloa tactics’!
The game, which lasts an hour, will take place at Hamilton Palace Sports complex every Wednesday night from now on, and at £2 a game it’s excellent value for money. Players of any ability will be welcomed to join in, so if you are interested please contact Stevie Morton on 07773 241933.
