Kernaghan Confirms Cardiff City Game On
Manager Alan Kernaghan has confirmed that Clyde’s pre-season friendly match with Cardiff City at Broadwood on Friday 26 July is definitely on, refuting speculation in some quarters that Clyde would follow the example of St Mirren who have cancelled their games against the Seagulls and Millwall because of fears that rival fans may clash in or around St. Mirren Park.
“We’ll be playing Cardiff,” the Broadwood boss stated. “I don’t think many of their supporters will be up here.”
Alan Kernaghan also confirmed that Clyde would once again be participating in the Oban Tournament, always a hugely enjoyable event for Clyde fans, and the Bully Wee would also be welcoming a visit to Cumbernauld from Norwich City in the lead up to the new season.
