Clyde 0-2 Queen's Park

Clyde completed their home programme with a two-goal defeat against Queen's Park, as the visitors continued their impressive form with a clinical performance that seems set to place them in the play-offs.

The Bully Wee were not without their chances, particularly in the first half with Stewart coming close on a number of occasions.

However, Queen's 'keeper Strain was only tested from a header from McMillan which he tipped over with relative ease.

Although the visitors did not create much, when chances arose they were not as profligate as their hosts. McBride curled in a corner in the 14th minute for Longworth to head home in a goal that was almost a carbon copy of his strikes in the previous match between the two sides at Broadwood.

Queen's doubled their advantage in the 64th minute when McBride - who was impressive throughout - fired the ball home with a great strike from outside the box.

Clyde continued to make chances with Stewart and Sawyers missing out but the match ended tamely, with the Spiders comfortable winners in the end.
