Elgin City 0-1 Clyde

Tue, 26th Apr 2011 9:44pm

The Bully Wee's unbeaten run continued in the Highlands tonight, with three points over Elgin that once more moves the club to ninth place in the Third Division.

Jordan Allan, Connor Stevenson and Kevin Finlayson were all added to the side that drew at Berwick on Saturday, with the latter playing a big part in the winning goal.

It came with just seven minutes left to play, as John Stewart grabbed his fourth goal in three games. Finlayson's shot crashed back off the bar and Stewart was on hand to nod in the rebound.

It's Clyde's second one-goal victory over Elgin in ten days and another very welcome one, especially for those brave fans that made the long journey North.
