Mark Gets Debut In Lugano

Thu, 3rd Apr 2003 12:00am
Mark Gilhaney arrived back home today having made a late appearance as a substitute in Scotland's under-19 friendly against Switzerland last night.

The match finished 2-2, with Celtic's Craig Beattie and Aberdeen's Scott Morrison grabbing Scotland's goals. The Swiss goals came courtesy of players from Juventus and Servette, an indication that they were of a high standard.

Despite only featuring for 5 minutes Mark thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - hopefully the first of many in a dark blue shirt.
