BRIEF SUMMARY
In a really good match, both sides passed the ball well throughout. Clyde lost two goals in the first half; one being particularly soft as it was down to a poor backwards header by Robert Halliday. John Sutton was the marksman on both occasions.
Clyde responded well after the interval however, and Graeme McCracken and Andy Millen combined (with the latter scoring) to reduce the deficit. Raith then made it 3-1 but Millen scored again before the end, following good work by John Baird, to make the scoreline respectable.
Billy Reid was reasonably pleased with the overall performance and commented, "It was a good work out for the four first team players who played and the under-19s also did well against a very strong Raith side. Andy Millen and Stephen McConalogue did well and I thought Paul Doyle had a particularly good match."
