Community Football - Clyde Football Club

The Official Community Programme of Clyde FC

Clyde FC is proud to be able to provide community football at two schools of football, the Cumbernauld School of Football, based at Broadwood Stadium, and the Glasgow Southside School of Football, based at the Toryglen Football Centre.

School of Football

Both schools have attained the 'Development’ level of the prestigious SFA Quality Mark Award. This award is in recognition of the Club's continued dedication to good practice and a commitment to continually raising standards of player and coach development, management and administration.

As a Community Interest Company, our aim is to engage with the people of the local community (irrespective of colour, creed, age, gender, ability or disability), to provide inclusive sport based initiatives which promote positive lifestyle choices and to promote a positive, safe and non-competitive environment to play and enjoy development football.

All our coaches are SFA qualified, first aid trained and enhanced disclosure checked. Children who display the required ability and attitude will have the potential to progress to the Clyde Academy, from age 10.

We also operate goalkeeper coaching sessions for any prospective ‘keepers.
