Foundation Seeks New Trustees
The Clyde FC Community Foundation is looking for individuals with a passion for community sport and making a positive difference to come forward as it looks to strengthen its Board of Trustees.
At the Clyde FC Community Foundation, we believe sport has the power to transform lives – building confidence, bringing people together, and promoting health and education. Through a wide range of grassroots programmes, we engage people of all ages and backgrounds, championing inclusivity and community spirit across our work.
The Foundation is seeking committed and enthusiastic individuals to join its Board of Trustees. Successful candidates will play a vital role in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction, ensuring strong governance, and supporting its mission to make sport accessible to all.
Trustees will be expected to:
- Contribute to setting the charity’s strategic direction
- Ensure appropriate financial oversight and compliance with legal responsibilities
- Provide guidance, expertise, and leadership to support ongoing development
- Act as ambassadors for the Foundation, helping to build connections within the community
Applications are welcomed from individuals of all backgrounds. The Foundation is particularly keen to hear from those with experience or expertise in:
- Financial management, financial planning, or corporate fundraising
- Law and legal practice
Previous trustee experience is not essential. Support and training will be provided to help individuals develop and succeed in the role.
This is a voluntary position offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Trustees are expected to attend approximately six meetings per year, alongside occasional involvement in events and activities.
In return, individuals will gain valuable leadership experience and the chance to contribute to lasting, positive change within the community.
