Darren and Marley Win September Awards

Clyde’s perfect record in September has been recognised by the SPFL, with Darren Young and Marley Redfern being awarded the League 2 Manager of the Month and Player of the Month respectively.

Young has guided The Bully Wee to five wins from five games, with Redfern netting six goals in the month, including his first professional hat-trick.

Darren commented:-

“I’m honoured to receive the Manager of the Month award for September, but it’s very much a collective achievement. It reflects the hard work and commitment of the players and the backroom staff. To win five games in a row is no small feat and underlines the belief, togetherness and determination within the squad. The lads have been outstanding – in training and on matchdays – and my staff deserve enormous credit for the standards they set every single day.

“I’m delighted for Marley on being named Player of the Month too – it’s thoroughly deserved after scoring six goals. He’s put in a huge amount of work over the summer and shown real character to come back strongly after his recent injury. It’s fantastic to see that effort rewarded and for him to be playing with such confidence.”
