Footgolf Day Proves Successful

The first Clyde FC Footgolf day took place on Sunday, and was enjoyed by all 30 participants in the sunshine at Palacerigg.

Club captain Andy Murdoch, along with Barry Cuddihy, Craig Howie, Logan Dunachie, Tommy Robson and manager Darren Young, were the team captains and joined in on the full course with their groups. Darren led by example, with the lowest score amongst the players & staff over the course!

Darren also took the award for longest drive of the day, overtaking Events Co-ordinator Dean McKirdy’s previous longest effort by just a few feet.

Dean however did win the prize for lowest score amongst fans, shared with David McDonald, who won a ball signed by the first team squad.

A raffle also took place after the event, with John McCone winning the star prize of a 2025/26 home top signed by the team.

Following positive feedback, another footgolf day is being planned for next season.

Thanks to everyone who attended and organised the event.
