Clyde 0-0 Elgin City
Clyde took on Elgin City today at the Hamilton Community Stadium this afternoon, with both sides left still searching for their first win this season after a drab 90 minutes.
Darren Young made six changes to the team that faced Queen of the South midweek, with Jay Hogarth returning between the sticks, and Sam Campbell, Tommy Robson, Mouhamed Niang, Kyle Connell and Taylor Sutherland also coming in.
Clyde started off looking like the better team, but as time went on, Elgin slowly grew into the game. Both sides had their fair share of chances, but none were able to capitalise. It was Kyle Connell who had the best chance of the half, forcing Tom Ritchie into a save following a cross from Taylor Sutherland.
Hilton also shot narrowly over, whilst at the other end a lapse in concentration left Elgin with a man free in the box from a corner. Jack Murray however headed over, resulting in both teams going into the interval deadlocked.
The second half started slowly with the game being stagnant, and did little to improve, with the remainder of the match being devoid of any real chances.
The Bully Wee were forced to play out the final few minutes with ten men after Sam Campbell was unable to continue with an injury have used all three sub stoppages.
