PREVIEW: Clyde v Peterhead

Clyde welcome champions Peterhead to New Douglas Park tomorrow as the curtain closes on the 2024/25 William Hill League Two season.

Darren Young’s side will finish in seventh place should they better Stranraer’s result against Bonnyrigg Rose. The Blue Toon won the league last Saturday and were presented with the trophy after beating title rivals East Fife 1-0.

The Balmoor club last won at Hamilton in August 2023 with the most recent match in South Lanarkshire ending in a 3-2 win for the home side courtesy of Liam Scullion’s stoppage minute winner.

The two matches in Aberdeenshire this season have both resulted in a share of the spoils with Scott Williamson rescuing a point for Clyde with an 80th minute equaliser during a 2-2 draw in February.

Peterhead hold the upper hand in this fixture, with Clyde amassing just nine wins, coupled with 13 draws and 25 defeats after 47 games.
