Ian Fitzpatrick To Step Down From Board
The club can today announce that Marketing Director, Ian Fitzpatrick, will be stepping down from his position on the Board of Directors at the end of the current season.
Ian has been an integral part of the club’s off-field operations since his appointment in November and his dedication and hard work have been greatly appreciated. He has played a key role in developing the club’s marketing strategies and enhancing our media presence.
Ian Fitzpatrick commented on his decision: “It has been a privilege to serve on the Board of Clyde Football Club and contribute to some long-term strategies. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together, and I would like to thank the Board, staff and players, volunteers, and supporters for their unwavering commitment. While I am stepping down from the Board, I remain a passionate supporter of the club and wish everyone the very best for the future.”
Chairman John Taylor added: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ian for his significant contribution to Clyde Football Club. His expertise and enthusiasm have been invaluable, and we respect his decision to step down at the end of the season. We wish him well in his future endeavours.”
The club has already proposed a succession plan for the Marketing & Media Team, and this will be worked on in detail over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
Clyde Football Club thanks Ian for his service and looks forward to continuing to build on the foundations laid during his time on the Board.
