PREVIEW: Forfar Athletic v Clyde

Clyde visit Station Park tomorrow in a high stakes game against current basement club Forfar Athletic.

Victory for The Bully Wee would increase the distance on bottom spot to ten points and potentially move them three points behind fifth. Whereas a win for Forfar could see the gap at the bottom close to three points with a game in hand.

As well as not winning an away match so far this season, The Bully Wee are also winless in four trips to face the Loons with the last win coming in April 2021.

However, Jim Weir’s side have not fared well at home this campaign with only two victories, the last occurring in December.

Clyde were victors in the last meeting between the sides at New Douglas Park with Martin Rennie doubling the hosts’ advantage with 20 minutes remaining after Jordan Allan’s third minute opener.

Meanwhile on the opening match of the season, neither team could be separated in a stalemate.

Out of 91 matches played between the sides, Clyde have won 34 and lost 33, with 24 draws.
